Subcontract Analyst, FAR/DFARS regulations..

We are looking for a Subcontract Analyst with a background in subcontract solicitation, analysis, creation, negotiation, award and post award responsibilities to join our team in Cambridge, MA or Reston, VA

This is a Hybrid role. MUST BE A US CITIZEN.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform subcontract management functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts

• Solicit subcontractors, supporting various award types and take a lead role on fact finding, proposal analysis and risk assessment with guidance from peers

• Manage tactical and strategic aspects of subcontract relationship, which includes interface with technical and contract organizations, such as Program Management, Program Office and Contracts.

• Issue modifications, solicit Engineering Change Proposals and issue Stop Work Orders.

• Be the focal point for subcontractor performance. Includes: RFP generation, delivery, payments and all contractual terms; Purchase order Placement and maintenance; Subcontract performance monitoring and completion assessments.

• Ability to develop sound business cases, and analyze data.

• Communicate clearly, strong writing skills, be proactive in a very fast paced environment, flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough, and drive tasks to completion

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of experience or High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience in subcontracts management, contracts management, procurement, proposal price/cost analysis, strategic sourcing, and/or industry related areas

• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities, deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Experience creating, negotiating and awarding both fixed price and cost type subcontracts

• Demonstrate working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations

• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and all levels of management including willingness to interact directly with subcontractors

• Experience soliciting, evaluating and documenting cost and price proposals

• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes and procedures

• Security Clearance, preferred
