Key Responsibilities:
- Custom Design: Partner with clients to comprehend their unique requirements, crafting tailored solutions for generator enclosures and power distribution centers.
- Electrical Design: Develop robust electrical systems for power distribution within enclosures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client specifications.
- Structural Design: Engineer structural designs for enclosures and tanks, focusing on load-bearing capacity, durability, and safety.
- HVAC Design: Collaborate on the coordination of equipment and ventilation schemes to optimize cooling based on geographic needs.
- Material Selection: Choose suitable construction materials, considering environmental conditions and client requirements.
- Bills of Material: Prepare detailed material lists for procurement and facilitate the creation of part numbers.
- Project Management: Direct the engineering phase of projects, ensuring designs meet planned specifications and timelines.
- Quality Assurance: Implement comprehensive quality control measures to uphold high standards of performance and reliability.
- Documentation: Produce precise engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing and construction teams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of industry regulations and ensure all designs comply with safety and environmental standards.
- Client Collaboration: Maintain ongoing communication with clients, addressing queries and concerns throughout the design process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of fifteen years’ experience in electrical engineering within the Mission Critical industry.
- Extensive experience in electrical design and systems in the electrical commercial construction sector.
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE) designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and 3D AutoCAD software.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
