Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role is integral in facilitating both commercial and residential real estate transactions from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate law and have substantial experience supporting attorneys in a law firm setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of real estate transactions, focusing on the timely and accurate execution of commercial and residential closings.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of titles and surveys, and prepare essential documentation for real estate dealings.
  • Coordinate buy/sell agreements and loan transactions from inception through closing.
  • Directly liaise with title underwriters to formulate title commitments and resolve any title issues.
  • Draft and review closing documents, entity resolutions, and detailed closing statements.
  • Compile lease summaries and support entity documentation processes.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Maintain organized schedules to ensure all attorney deadlines are met consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Paralegal certification is an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm setting.
  • Proficient in real estate software such as ClosingVU and Qualia, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Familiarity with Florida real estate law and court e-filing processes.
