This role is pivotal for driving new business and achieving sales targets in the packaging manufacturing sector, specifically focusing on e-commerce, retail, and display packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new business and maximize sales profitability within the assigned territory.
- Uphold high ethical standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Determine and negotiate product specifications, pricing, and quotes.
- Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly activity reports.
- Identify and analyze potential customer leads to expand the prospect list.
- Conduct customer visits to assess needs and promote a wide range of products and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and manage customer records efficiently.
- Address customer inquiries regarding credit terms, products, pricing, and availability.
- Perform packaging audits and collaborate with the Design Team to offer value-added solutions promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales or marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the retail or display packaging/manufacturing industry.
- Residency within or near the designated sales territory is required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with customers and suppliers.
- Motivated and results-oriented, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and understanding industry standards.
- Proficiency in managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
