We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Administration Paralegal to join our team in Melville, NY. This full-time position is ideal for a professional with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience who is ready to contribute to a dynamic legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of trusts and estates administration.
  • Provide expertise in Surrogate’s Court rules and procedures, including probate, administration, and accounting proceedings.
  • Prepare estate tax returns and related documentation.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up capabilities.
  • Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis and Westlaw, and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved program is a plus.
  • A proactive team player who takes initiative and values maintaining client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits:

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
