Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead their sales organization and drive revenue growth.

 

What You Will Do:

 
  • Set and manage sales goals and objectives, prioritizing accuracy, predictability, and transparency in sales volume, compensation programs, cost of sales, profitability, and revenue forecasts.
  • Develop and execute sales enablement strategies, including optimizing CRM systems and other tools to streamline the sales process.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive strategic growth opportunities.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate individual and team performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align resources and support customer needs effectively.
  • Design and implement a scalable training program for onboarding new sales team members and ensuring ongoing professional development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor trends, making strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Partner with marketing to develop strategies that enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and drive new customer acquisition.
  • Lead improvement initiatives within the sales organization, identifying opportunities for positive change and removing obstacles to success.
  • Participate in deal activity, including negotiating and closing high-value opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO on sales progress, challenges, and projections.
  • Work closely with other departments—such as Product, IT, HR, Operations, and Finance—to align on strategic objectives and initiatives.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving collaboration and contributing to overall company success.

 

What You Bring:

 
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of closed-loop gift card and loyalty solutions is required.
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams within the payments or fintech industry, achieving or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to establish and manage quotas, budgets, sales compensation plans, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to track sales performance, pipeline health, and individual team member contributions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear strategies and value propositions to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Inspirational and decisive leader who fosters a results-driven and collaborative culture.
  • Executive presence with experience engaging with senior leadership teams and contributing to overall company strategy.
