The Merchant Solution Sales Leader is responsible for driving sales performance by leading and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue goals and building a strong pipeline. This role focuses on providing leadership, guidance, and resources to empower the team, ensuring they can deliver results efficiently and effectively. Experience in financial institutions or banks and expertise in payments solutions are critical.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Guide and support the sales team to achieve individual and team revenue targets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Assist team members during client meetings, proposals, and negotiations to increase deal success rates.
  • Monitor and review the sales pipeline, offering strategic insights and removing obstacles to help the team advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Support team efforts to identify customer needs and provide tailored payment solutions, including Acquiring, AR, AP, and automation.
  •  Coach and mentor sales and solution consultants, fostering skill development and enabling them to meet performance expectations.
  • Develop and implement tools and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Oversee and provide input on responses to RFPs, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with strategic goals.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and other teams to ensure the sales team has the resources and materials needed to succeed.
  • Work with channel partners to align on goals and provide the team with the support needed to close shared opportunities.

  • Expertise in acquiring payments solutions.
  • Experience working in a financial institution or banks.
  • A strong track record of driving sales team performance and managing pipelines to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor sales professionals, fostering growth and success.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as salesforce.com
