Production Manager

Compensation DOE: Up to $125K

The Production Manager oversees Production Supervisors and indirect floor personnel, ensuring products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.

 Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Work with Supervisors on planning and organizing production schedules.
• Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Follow, monitor, and enforce all Safety and Environmental policies.
• Conduct daily meetings with production departments and shifts to update on current projects, production, and shipments.
• Respond to customer Corrective Actions as needed.
• Daily problem solving on issues for all shifts.
• Continuously improve through training, hiring new personnel and being present on the floor working with employees on manufacturing issues.
• Ensure all finished product samples are submitted to the lab for approval while following Lab instructions.
• Review and develop work instructions for production.
• Remain in compliance with facility ISO & IATF standards.

Production Manage Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment. 
• 5 years’ supervisory background leading a team of direct Supervisors and indirect floor associates.  Other attributes include:
• Being present on the floor with a high degree of energy with the ability to motivate and lead others, earning trust and respect.  Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be forward thinking.
• Multi-task various work assignments in a time efficient manner, work well under pressure with sharp decision-making abilities.
• Basic computer software skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing production goals.
