Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Turning to support and improve their precision machining operations in Anderson, IN. This is an ideal role for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

What You’ll Do as a Manufacturing Engineer:

As a Manufacturing Engineer- CNC Turning, you’ll develop and optimize processes related to the green turning, rolling, and broaching of constant velocity joint (CVJ) components. Your work will directly support plant productivity, precision machining quality, and cross-functional process improvements.

Manufacturing Engineer Duties Include:

• Developing and maintaining CNC programs for turning, rolling, and broaching operations

• Troubleshooting setups and machine issues on the shop floor

• Designing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and selecting cutting tools

• Analyzing workflow, layout, and labor utilization to improve throughput

• Leading process improvement and cost reduction initiatives

• Installing and supporting new equipment and machine startups

• Collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and vendors on production improvements

• Utilizing statistical methods to monitor and refine machining performance

• Maintaining accurate process documentation, drawings, and routings

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally with CNC machining

• Proficiency in G&M codes, macro programming, and FANUC/Okuma controls

• Hands-on experience with turning, milling, spline/thread rolling, and broaching

• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, and machining tolerances

• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD platforms

• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities

• Willingness to be on-site and assist hands-on with shop floor troubleshooting
