Master Scheduler

Full-TimeIndianapolis, INCompensation DOE: Up to $75K/year

Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Master Scheduler to join a team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing, ERP systems, and production scheduling who is ready to take the lead in ensuring efficient production workflows and on-time deliveries.

What You’ll Do as a Master Scheduler:

As the Master Scheduler, you will develop, manage, and maintain the integrated master schedule that drives our clients production planning efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, engineering, program management, and supply chain—to align production output with customer demand, manage capacity, and ensure timely completion of key deliverables.

Master Scheduler Duties Include:

  • Creating and managing the integrated master schedule to meet program objectives

  • Executing production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and maximize efficiency

  • Monitoring actual vs. planned progress and addressing schedule-related risks

  • Working closely with program managers, engineering, and materials teams on deliverables and constraints

  • Analyzing production data and resource utilization to optimize output

  • Using ERP/MRP systems to manage scheduling accuracy and update job statuses

  • Generating task reports and Gantt charts for internal and customer use

  • Supporting SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes

  • Identifying and resolving scheduling delays due to material, labor, or design changes

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date schedule documentation across departments

What We’re Looking For in a Master Scheduler:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Scheduler

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

  • Experience in SIOP planning, capacity analysis, and schedule risk mitigation

  • Understanding of production workflows, inventory control, and continuous improvement tools

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills

  • Ability to generate and interpret reports, Gantt charts, and dashboards

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and related scheduling tools

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Schedule & Location:

  • Location: Indianapolis, IN

  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Work Environment: On-site in a dynamic manufacturing setting
