Cerner Report Writer

We have a short term remote contract for a Cerner Report Writer. The Cerner Report Writer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reports within the Cerner Millennium platform to support clinical, operational, and financial decision-making. This role partners closely with stakeholders across clinical, IT, and administrative teams to ensure accurate data extraction, optimized workflows, and effective use of Cerner reporting tools such as Discern Analytics (DA2/DA3), PowerInsight, CCL, and Cerner Command Language.

Key Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5+ years of experience with Cerner Millennium reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in CCL (Cerner Command Language) and SQL-based querying.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, EMR data structures, and healthcare terminology.
