Our client is a leading global provider of carton packaging, filling equipment, and technical services in both the fresh and ambient markets. They employ approximately 2,700 and operates 11 manufacturing units globally. Approximately 14 billion cartons are sold annually across more than 70 markets.
The company includes operations in Canada and the United States, as well as joint ventures in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. In Canada, approximately 280 employees are supporting Production, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Technical Services. In the United States, there are approximately 75 employees, covering Sales, Technical Service, Maintenance and Spare Parts, Warehousing, Operations, and Finance.
General overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Executive Account Manager with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen. This role reports directly to the Vice-President of Sales for the North America Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding the North American client base, leading and overseeing the company's book of business in a dynamic and fast-paced market environment.
Key Responsibilities
- In charge of managing, directing, and coordinating sales development activities: develop and execute a strategic sales plan designed to increase sales and profits.
- Responsible for the growth and driving new, profitable sales while managing key accounts.
- Provide leadership role in developing a strategy to develop new business and to close deals, write RFPs, while balancing account management duties to service and satisfy existing customers.
- Promote a value-selling approach on all products, solutions, and services, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish, maintain, and grow business with existing accounts.
- Develop and build trustful relationships with existing and new customers.
- Align organizational objectives with sales strategy through active participation incorporate planning, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
- Work to establish and meet targets for profitable sales volume and budgets, including the development of short and long-range goals and objectives.
- Research and develop strategies and plans that identify market opportunities.
- Participate in the development of new project proposals and manage all related corporate processes.
- Contribute to marketing strategies and sales presentations.
Professional experience and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent combined with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the juice, dairy, liquid eggs or packaging industry, including:
- 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts of a minimum value of 2M$
- 5 years of experience working with C-Level executives (problem solving, presenting, building strong partnerships, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of food industry operations, which include (efficiency estimate, Total Cost of Ownership, complex capex projects of 3M$ or more)

- Proved record of developing sustainable business in a B2B environment.

Ability to travel nationally and internationally
- Travelling 60-70% of the time in North America
- Occasionally in Europe
