Leading tier I automotive supplier is hiring their next Human Resources Manager to coach and mentor a team of HR professionals and lead HR strategy at a fast-paced manufacturing plant. Daily you will partner with operations and will report to a Regional HR Manager. Responsibilities will include:

Strategic Operations Partnership: Serve as the primary HR partner to Operations Leadership, aligning HR strategy with production needs, and leading workforce planning, organization design, and succession efforts.

Culture, Engagement, and Employee Relations: Actively foster a positive, inclusive culture and provide expert guidance on resolving complex employee relations issues with a focus on fairness and consistency. Drive team engagement through events, recognition, communication, and feedback strategies.

Total Talent Management: Lead the full talent lifecycle, including developing recruitment/retention strategies, overseeing performance management programs, and spearheading leadership development initiatives.

Data-Driven HR Leadership: Utilize an HRIS system to generate accurate data and analytics (KPIs), ensuring HR initiatives and budget allocation are informed by metrics to support key business decisions.

Payroll, Compensation, and Compliance Oversight: Directly manage and ensure accurate compensation, payroll, and benefits administration for all employees, while maintaining strict compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (EEOC, OSHA, etc.).
The qualified candidate will be confident, direct, approachable, trustworthy, energetic, eager and comfortable engaging with staff on the manufacturing floor. The Site Manager is anxiously awaiting their strategic HR partner! Individuals should be well-rounded in human resources and employment law and have strengths in employee relations. There is minimal travel with this position and no remote work available. The Human Resources Manager is required to do regular management presentations and must feel comfortable walking a large production floor on a regular basis.

REQUIREMENTS for the Human Resources Manager:
1. A bachelor's degree is ideal; experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
2. At least eight years of human resources experience, with at least 3 years in a similar HR Manager role
3. Experience overseeing other human resources professionals
4. Experience performing HR functions in manufacturing environments, with at least 100 employees
5. A strong background in employee relations
6. Working knowledge of HRIS systems
7. Working knowledge of HR metrics and KPIs
8. Microsoft Office
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Automotive supplier work experience
2. SHRM certification
3. Non-union workforces
