Our client, a global leader in advanced electronic systems for the U.S. government, is seeking a skilled and mission-ready Field Service Representative (FSR) to support the operation, maintenance, and field readiness of a major air defense radar system. This position requires relocation to Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, and may involve both domestic and international deployments.
As an integral member of a specialized support team, the Field Service Representative will be responsible for the technical upkeep, system availability, and field support of long-range air defense radar systems. The role includes preventative and corrective maintenance, system integration, anomaly resolution, and support for operational testing and training initiatives.
· Serve as part of a small technical team (2–3 FSRs) across various deployment locations.
· Perform diagnostics, preventative and corrective maintenance on complex radar systems, including power, cooling, and mechanical subsystems.
· Support integration and testing, perform root cause analysis on system discrepancies, and provide timely technical assessments and resolutions.
· Assist in the development and delivery of training packages, including instructional modules, manuals, and visual training aids.
· Document and submit technical data, incident logs, and regular status reports.
· Technical training equivalent to military radar technician MOS: 13R, 94M, 94S, 14T, 14E, FC, ET, or similar radar-related experience in air defense or field artillery.
· Hands-on experience with air defense/field artillery radar systems such as:
· AN/MPQ-64 (Sentinel)
· AN/TPS-80 (G/ATOR)
· AN/MPQ-53/65 (Patriot)
· AN/TPQ-36/37, TPQ-48/49/50
· 2+ years of relevant experience with long-range radar systems or Fire Control Radars.
· Strong understanding of radar theory and application.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; capable of conducting detailed technical analysis and reporting.
· Must hold a current DoD Secret clearance.
· U.S. Citizenship required.
· Certified electrical technician or B.A. in Electrical Engineering.
· Experience maintaining diesel generators (2+ years).
· Certified refrigeration technician.
