About the Role

Our client—a trusted provider of advanced SIGINT and Electronic Warfare solutions to the U.S. government—is seeking a skilled System, Integration, and Test Engineer to support the transition of cutting-edge microwave technologies from development to production. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing automated test systems, validating performance, and ensuring reliable calibration and tuning processes for miniature RF products deployed in critical defense applications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design automated test systems that convert engineering test setups into repeatable, production-ready platforms.
  • Develop and maintain LabVIEW or equivalent test programs to evaluate RF product performance and collect detailed test data.
  • Review engineering specifications and translate them into test strategies, ensuring all requirements are validated.
  • Operate and program test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and more.
  • Support product transition from Engineering to Manufacturing by developing test procedures and assisting in system calibration and tuning.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and rebuild automated test setups and equipment interfaces.
  • Document full testing workflows from bench-level integration to final acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to development timelines.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automated test engineering, preferably in RF or electronics systems.
  • Proficiency in LabVIEW (preferred) or C#, C++, VBA, Python for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of analog/digital troubleshooting, RF principles, and signal flow.
  • Demonstrated experience with test setup prototyping and custom fixture design.
  • Prior involvement in transitioning products from development to production.
  • Highly organized and self-directed with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computing.
  • U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
