Essential Functions
Draft and prepare discovery requests and responses
Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
Conduct basic legal research and cite-checking
File legal documents electronically in both State and Federal courts
Manage case calendars and track critical litigation deadlines
Organize case files, exhibits, and trial binders
Coordinate trial preparation logistics and provide in-court support as needed
Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit to trial
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
In-depth understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules (State and Federal)
Experience with eFiling systems and eDiscovery tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and other team members
Paralegal Certificate and/or Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Prior experience supporting attorneys in civil litigation matters
Familiarity with case management software (e.g., Clio, Relativity, or similar platforms)
