Our client, a growing law firm with offices in Houston, Texas, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Financial & Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for managing routine payroll, revenue reporting, and bill payments while maintaining accurate and organized financial records. The ideal candidate will have expert-level Excel skills and experience working with financial software platforms including QuickBooks and Copac. Familiarity with Sharefile document management is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process routine payroll using Copac

  • Prepare and maintain accurate revenue reports

  • Manage bill payments and related documentation

  • Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for day-to-day financial operations

  • Organize and maintain financial records using Sharefile

  • Prepare spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial procedures and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, billing, and financial reporting

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience using QuickBooks and payroll platforms (Copac preferred)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and meet routine deadlines

  • Familiarity with Sharefile or other document management systems is a plus

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
