Key Responsibilities

Timesheet Management

  • Oversee the collection, review, verification, and processing of all timesheets for both weekly and bi-weekly payroll periods.
  • Ensure timely submission of timesheets by coordinating with field supervisors, leads, and foremen.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies through effective communication with relevant team members, documenting any corrections made.
  • Distribute new blank timesheets to supervisors and team leads as needed.

Payroll Processing

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive payroll processing checklist to ensure the timely completion of all tasks.
  • Input time and compensation data into Paychex Upload Excel Spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy before uploading into Paychex Flex Software.
  • Handle manual checks when necessary, coordinating with HR for verification and distribution.
  • Manage bonus information and ensure timely processing in payroll cycles.
  • Ensure all payrolls are processed before the weekly cut-off time.
  • Utilize LCP Tracker software for certified payroll processing as required.

Post-Payroll Activities

  • Create and maintain post-payroll processing checklists to facilitate comprehensive reporting and notifications.
  • Assemble and distribute weekly payroll binders containing all relevant documents and reports.
  • Prepare certified payroll reports for HR review and approval.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of payroll records and the timely payment of employees.
  • Serve as a liaison between payroll, human resources, and budgeting departments.
  • Update payroll software to ensure accurate processing and administration.
  • Assist HR with employee-related tasks and provide support as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
