A leading AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Employment & Trade Secrets Practice Group. This is an outstanding opportunity to represent innovative technology and life sciences companies in high-stakes employment litigation, counseling, and corporate transactions.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing
  • 2–3 years of substantive experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling
  • Experience handling cases involving restrictive covenants, trade secret disputes, and other employment-related litigation
  • Background advising clients on terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, reductions in force, and employment policies
  • Familiarity with employment issues in M&A and other corporate transactions preferred
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to in-person collaboration in the firm’s Seattle office

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent employers in employment law disputes, including trade secret and non-compete litigation
  • Provide day-to-day counseling to fast-growing companies on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and handbooks
  • Conduct internal investigations and advise on workforce management issues
  • Support corporate transactions by advising on employment-related matters

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $235,000 – $260,000, commensurate with experience and class year
  • Discretionary merit bonus eligibility
