Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a talented Senior-Level Associate Attorney to join their nationally-recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in high-stakes single-plaintiff employment litigation while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position offers meaningful client interaction, significant case management responsibility, and the chance to help grow a thriving practice.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
  • 5+ years of substantive employment litigation experience, with a focus on single-plaintiff, high-stakes cases
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and serve as lead or point person on litigation matters
  • Deposition and courtroom experience, with familiarity in Federal Court Rules and E-Discovery
  • Experience supervising junior associates and staff, and acting as primary client contact
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong project management, leadership, and client-relations skills
  • Collaborative, collegial, and committed to professional excellence
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage single-plaintiff employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing practical and strategic legal advice
  • Conduct depositions, draft pleadings and motions, and represent clients in hearings and court proceedings
  • Oversee written discovery and e-discovery processes, ensuring compliance with federal and state rules
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and staff on litigation strategy and execution
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and firm leadership to support practice growth and client development initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $325,000-$415,000, as determined by experience and market factors
