A leading AmLaw 100 international law firm is seeking a talented Sr. Associate Attorney or Counsel to join its premier Labor & Employment Practice in California. This role offers the opportunity to represent sophisticated employers in complex employment disputes, with a particular focus on wage and hour class and collective actions, while collaborating with a nationally recognized team.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
  • 6+ years of substantive employment litigation experience
  • Extensive experience handling wage/hour class actions and complex employment disputes
  • Proven ability to handle multiple cases and assignments concurrently while producing top-quality work
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with a high proficiency in drafting legal documents
  • Demonstrated experience taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and handling hearings and trials
  • Ability to work collaboratively across offices
 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in complex employment litigation, including wage/hour class and collective actions
  • Lead all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Develop case strategy in collaboration with partners and clients to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Provide high-level client service through effective communication and tailored legal solutions
  • Work seamlessly with colleagues across offices in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Annual salary range of $315,000 – $450,000, as determined by experience and market factors
  • Bonus Eligibility: Productivity-based and discretionary bonus opportunities
