EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – MID TO SENIOR LEVEL

A leading AmLaw 100 national law firm is seeking a talented mid-to-senior level Associate Attorney to join its thriving Employment Litigation Practice in New York. This position offers the opportunity to represent sophisticated private-sector employers in complex employment disputes while collaborating with an accomplished national team.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
    • Admission to practice in New Jersey and/or Connecticut is a plus
  • 5+ years of substantive employment litigation experience
  • Management-side representation of private sector employers, with proven ability to handle complex employment matters
  • Experience litigating before federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative agencies
  • Demonstrated skills in fact investigation, discovery management (including substantial ESI productions), depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting dispositive motions and discovery-related motions
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of active cases while maintaining exceptional client service
 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels
  • Lead discovery efforts, including substantial ESI production and management of complex case files
  • Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in hearings and trials
  • Draft, oppose, and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery-related motions
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to shape litigation strategy and drive case outcomes
  • Provide exceptional client service through effective communication and tailored legal solutions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment three or more days per week physically present in New York office.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Annual salary range of $225,000 – $330,000, as determined by experience and market factors
