Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its leading Insurance Coverage Practice. This partnership-track opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate who is eager to handle sophisticated insurance coverage matters and litigation, while working closely with policyholders and insurers across a wide range of industries.
Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record (Class Years 2020-2022)

Active Bar Admission in Massachusetts, in good standing
- Candidates who intend to relocate and are willing to gain admission within the first year of employment are also welcome to apply

3–5 years of substantive insurance coverage experience, preferably representing policyholders or insurers

Litigation experience, with familiarity in first- and third-party insurance policies and insurance policy interpretation
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills, with demonstrated initiative and leadership ability
- Professionalism: Client-service oriented, collaborative, and committed to excellence; eagerness to engage in pro bono matters
Key Responsibilities

Represent policyholders and insurers in complex insurance coverage matters, including litigation and arbitration

Draft, analyze, and interpret first- and third-party insurance policies and related agreements
- Provide clear and strategic legal advice to clients on a variety of insurance coverage issues

Handle motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation for litigated matters
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
- Engage in direct client communication, offering practical and business-focused guidance

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to start at $260,000-$365,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
- Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
