LITIGATION ATTORNEY – NON-PARTNERSHIP TRACK

 

Location: Miami, FLHYBRID

 

 

A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join their Miami office in a non-partnership track position. This is an outstanding opportunity for a litigator with experience handling complex disputes to work on sophisticated matters while benefiting from the support and resources of a premier international platform.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
  • 4+ years of substantive litigation experience, including significant work in both state and federal courts.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, and taking/defending depositions.
  • Background in healthcare and/or ERISA litigation is highly desirable.
  • Prior state or federal clerkship experience is a plus.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client service.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad range of litigation matters from inception through resolution in both state and federal courts.
  • Draft and review pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Take and defend depositions and handle discovery disputes.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and well-reasoned legal analysis and work product.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand objectives, anticipate needs, and develop strategies.
  • Participate in hearings, client meetings, and business development activities as needed.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and professional staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $260,000+, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
