LITIGATION ATTORNEY – NON-PARTNERSHIP TRACK

Location: Miami, FLHYBRID

A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join their Miami office in a non-partnership track position. This is an outstanding opportunity for a litigator with experience handling complex disputes to work on sophisticated matters while benefiting from the support and resources of a premier international platform.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
4+ years of substantive litigation experience, including significant work in both state and federal courts.
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, and taking/defending depositions.
Background in healthcare and/or ERISA litigation is highly desirable.
Prior state or federal clerkship experience is a plus.
Strong legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel.
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a broad range of litigation matters from inception through resolution in both state and federal courts.
Draft and review pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery responses.
Take and defend depositions and handle discovery disputes.
Provide timely, accurate, and well-reasoned legal analysis and work product.
Engage directly with clients to understand objectives, anticipate needs, and develop strategies.
Participate in hearings, client meetings, and business development activities as needed.
Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and professional staff.
Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $260,000+, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
