ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (FDA REGULATORY)

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking an experienced FDA Regulatory Associate Attorney to join their premier Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Group in their DC office. This position offers the opportunity to advise leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies on complex licensing and commercial transactions at the forefront of the life sciences industry.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Active Bar Admission in DC, in good standing.

  • 2+ years of substantive experience advising clients on FDA regulatory issues, including transactional matters.

  • Preferred Background: Product developmentclinical trialslaunch and marketing.

  • Experience working with government regulators throughout the entire FDA-regulated product life cycle is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise life sciences companies, investment firms, and joint venture partners on complex FDA regulatory matters throughout each stage of the product life cycle.

  • Provide counsel on FDA regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Coordinate with IP, litigation, licensing, and corporate colleagues to deliver comprehensive transactional support.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and offer business-oriented legal guidance to help clients navigate high-stakes commercial and regulatory environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Salary range starting at $235,000+, determined by experience, in addition to eligibility for a significant merit-based bonus.
