IMMIGRATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Location: San Francisco, CA
HYBRID (4 days/week in-office)
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their growing Immigration Practice Group in San Francisco. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with corporate clients on a wide range of sophisticated immigration matters within a high-volume, fast-paced practice.
Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record

Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing, or the ability to obtain admission promptly

2–4 years of substantive experience in immigration and nationality law
- Deep familiarity with H, L, E, TN, and O visa classifications; PERM labor certifications; immigrant visa petitions; and consular processing
- Strong case management skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of matters efficiently and independently
- Superior writing, research, and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated positive presence, advocacy capability, and confidence engaging with corporate clients
- Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage immigrant visa petitions (H, L, E, TN, O, PERM)

Oversee case strategy and workflow for corporate clients across various industries

Conduct legal research and draft persuasive petitions, responses, and supporting documentation
- Guide clients through consular processing of immigrants and non-immigrants, as well as related government interactions
- Communicate directly with corporate stakeholders, providing timely updates and practical guidance
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegals to manage case pipelines and deadlines
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-caliber immigration practice

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: Expected annual base salary range is $135,000-$155,000, as determined by experience and market factors
