What we are looking for:

Our company seeks a highly detail-oriented Staff Accountant to provide specialized accounting support across various functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, and General Accounting. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial records and efficient management of job costs.

How you will contribute: 

  • Import and manage timesheets using ProCore.
  • Review and process employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare General & Administrative invoices and print checks on a weekly basis.
  • Update and post cash receipts.
  • Maintain the collections list to keep track of outstanding balances and payment schedules.
  • Manage AP workflow, entering and scanning invoices in ComputerEase.
  • Conduct cost segregation reporting.
  • Oversee lien waiver management.
  • Handle billing and accounts receivable.

Primary Focus:The majority of time will be spent on Accounts Payable (AP) and managing monthly waivers with subcontractors, along with processing requisitions.

What we need from you: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Experience with ComputerEase, ProCore, Excel, and Word is preferred (other relevant software experience may be considered).
  • Team-oriented approach.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to see clearly (with or without corrective lenses), coordinate eye-hand movements, and use hands, arms, and fingers fully.
  • Ability to maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally more.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in similar roles may be considered in lieu of a degree.
