What we are looking for:

We are seeking a proactive and team-oriented Business (Commercial) Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional insurance solutions to our clients, fostering lasting relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the team. This position offers a flexible work schedule with the option for in-office or hybrid (3 days in/2 days home) arrangements. Working hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

How you will contribute: 

  • Client Engagement: Educate clients on policy coverage, updates, and insurance needs, ensuring clarity and support throughout their experience.
  • Proactive Account Management: Pre-qualify and analyze prospective clients, manage applications, and collaborate with Producers to deliver technical support.
  • Detail-Oriented Service: Ensure accuracy in policy reviews, manage coverage changes, and oversee renewals, prioritizing client satisfaction.
  • Growth and Development: Generate referrals, cross-sell services, and seek new business opportunities to enhance client relationships and drive business growth.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and technology to continually enhance knowledge and performance.

What we need from you: 

  • Customer Focus: A commitment to providing exceptional service and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of business insurance markets, products, and rating procedures.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with agency management software, insurance rating software, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Applied EPIC is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in business/commercial insurance account management. A Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required, and a college degree or bilingual skills are advantageous.
