POSITION:     Electro-Mechanical Technician

LOCATION:   Salem / Nashua, NH

Company in southern New Hampshire is recruiting an individual with mechanical aptitude, who has MEP type experience.   Engineering degree is NOT required.

The individual we are looking for must have technical experience in repairing, troubleshooting and providing support.  (company will train on specific products)

The Technician will work 50% to 75% time with flexible hours.  This is a permanent position where the individual will work no more than 30 hours a week.

They will be paid a set compensation and benefits.  This is NOT an hourly paid position.

Someone that has retired but is NOT ready to retire might be a great fit.

Responsibilities

·        Experience with operational and technical aspects of a wide variety of technical products

·        Capable of reading / understanding manufacturing and process documentation, including schematics

·        Experience using a variety of hand tools and test / measurement equipment

·        Participate in the development and implementation of training courses

·        Conduct routine repair, diagnosis, service, support and upgrades of company’s products. (company will train)

·        Help develop standard repair and integration procedures.

·        In charge of overall inventory management to assure the inventory is accurate with the help of a part time administrator

Requirements

·        Technical degree or equivalent experience (Engineering degree NOT required)

·        Experience in a technically related manufacturing or service industry

·        Strong MEP troubleshooting skills, will align with overall responsibility

·        Proficient with using electronic test equipment required, e.g., oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and signal generators

·        Read schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly

·        Data input and summary computer skills

·        With company / government interaction, individual must be U.S. Citizen with Passport

·        Military or government experience a plus

·        No remote workers – must be onsite.

·        Very little travel required
