Job Description

  • Operate and maintain grinding machines to create or repair precision tools and components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to meet exacting standards.
  • Perform manual milling, boring, drilling, and tapping to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Operate manual lathes for turning, boring, and threading tasks.
  • Measure and inspect materials using tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Set up and adjust equipment for optimal performance and precision.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning and replacing worn parts.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in tool grinding and manual machining.
  • Proficiency in manual milling and lathe operations.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints with strong attention to detail.
  • Skilled in using precision measurement tools.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizens or permanent residents only).
