Essential Functions

• Collect and compile cost data, maintaining an expense database.
• Develop and implement systems and procedures for cost accumulation and accounting functions.
• Identify fixed costs such as salaries, rent, and insurance.
• Forecast, plan, and document variable costs including raw materials, labor, and operational expenses.
• Review and analyze actual costs to detect discrepancies.
• Prepare departmental and company-wide budget reports.
• Analyze and report on profit margins.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
• Recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Manage fixed assets.
• Provide cost estimates for product samples for marketing and general accounting purposes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related major required.
• Minimum of 3 years of Standard Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year experience working with and ERP system.
