Position: Medical Molding Manager

• Reporting to the Technical Manufacturing Manager, you will overseeall aspects of the molding operation, including process optimization,quality assurance, and team development.• Develop and enforce technical best practices, optimize toolingsequences, improve workflows, and ensure adherence to operationalstandards to minimize variances, scrap rates, and downtime.• Serve as the primary technical resource for resolving injection moldingissues related to machines, tools, and materials. Lead efforts todiagnose and resolve production challenges, collaborating with qualityand tooling teams.• Build and coach a skilled processing team, establish performancegoals, and provide mentorship and training to enhance teamcapabilities. Monitor and report key performance metrics.• Coordinate with scheduling, tool room, and production teams to ensureproduction schedules are realistic and achieved, minimizing downtimeand resource conflicts.• Partner with project teams to validate and launch new tooling, overseetrial execution, and support the transition to full-scale production,including quality validation processes.• Identify and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs,and improve processes within molding operations.What we are looking for:• Proven experience in injection molding, including process optimization,troubleshooting, and understanding of tooling, materials, and moldingmachinery. Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations for medicalmanufacturing is preferred• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technicalchallenges, ensure efficient production, and collaborate acrossdepartments to address customer needs.• Demonstrated success in building, coaching, and managing high-performing teams. Ability to set clear goals, provide mentorship, andfoster accountability within the workforce• Ability to enforce standardized processes, develop SOPs, and maintainhigh-quality and operational standards in a fast-paced environment.• Skilled in working with cross-functional teams to support productionschedules, new product development, and customer requirementswhile driving alignment across departments.Community Information: Indianapolis Indiana area
