Senior TS&D Engineer / Scientist – Indiana

This is a highly visible role within the organization responsible for connecting R&D to the manufacturing facilities and customer applications.  Leading new product launches of custom formulated polymer products and troubleshooting downstream processing issues for customers. The TS&D Engineer / Scientist will collaborate with customers and internal resources including sales, operations, and the lab personnel to provide innovative solutions for applications on a global basis.

Location:  Indiana – in a mid-size town with great schools, a low cost of living, and close proximity to several major metropolitan areas.

To be successful in this critical role:You must be a hands on and creative Process & Development professional motivated to provide innovative solutions for a wide variety of customer challenges.

• Experience working with custom thermoplastic materials and processes with a strong preference for extrusion or downstream converting of extruded plastic substrates.
• Plastic converting knowledge or experience is helpful.
• BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, chemistry, polymer science, or another related field is required.
