Corporate Reliability Manager – Specialty Plastics (semi-Remote)

This is a highly visible role within the organization that will be tasked with working with cross functional teams across multiple facilities to develop and implement the company’s Reliability and Maintenance strategy.  Working toward a World Class Reliability Program through the utilization of a cloud-based CMMS and EAM system.  This individual will work with each facility and their maintenance team to implement the corporate system within their plant.

Your key metrics will be OEE, downtime, time-to-repair, time-between-failure, etc.  The Corporate Reliability Manager will report to the VP of Operations & Continuous Improvement and have the ability to build and implement new systems and procedures necessary for success.

Location:  Remote; travel as needed.  Midwest location preferred with access to at least one plant.

To be successful in this critical role:You must be a driven professional capable of managing the creating and implementation of a robust Maintenance & Reliability Program across an enterprise.

  • Expert in best practices within maintenance and reliability (preventative & predictive maintenance.
  • Experience with plastics preferred (materials, extrusion, injection / blow molding, etc.  Other materials and processing technologies will also be considered.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving, strategic decision making.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency.
