B&C Account Manager – Specialty Plastics

This is a highly visible role within a growing commercial team, responsible for the growth new and existing accounts (approximately 50/50 AM/NBD).  Drive market strategy while working independently and directly with industry contacts, OEM’s and end users.  Collaborate internally with the commercial team to drive growth in the market and work with R&D to deliver new products to meet customer needs.

You will focus on the Building & Construction market and work to increase opportunities for both existing and new products within current customers and by developing new relationships in the industry.  Partnering with internal resources you will help drive innovation and provide value to the marketplace.

Location:  Remote; travel as needed

To be successful in this critical role:You must be a driven professional capable of managing a complex sales process of custom products to meet customer demands. 

  • Attention to detail, ability to manage sales process and collaborate with internal resources. 
  • Experience with plastics preferred (materials, semi finished goods, extrusions, injection / blow molded, etc) within Building & Construction.  Other materials / products going into the B&C market will also be considered.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency.
