Corporate Continuous Improvement Manager – Specialty Plastics (semi-Remote)

This is a highly visible role within the organization that will be tasked with working with cross functional teams across multiple facilities to drive sustainable operation improvements while implementing the company’s overall C/I strategy.  Working toward Operational Excellence, reporting to the VP of Operations, this individual will work with each facility to drive continuous improvement projects and culture within their plant.

Leading and coaching team members to establish a C/I culture throughout the organization.  Working on multiple concurrent projects with a clear impact on the P&L of the business.

Location:  Remote; travel as needed.  Midwest location preferred with access to at least one plant.

To be successful in this critical role:You must be a driven professional capable of managing C/I projects at multiple facilities while coaching, training, and developing a C/I culture driven toward Operational Excellence.

  • Six Sigma Black Belt highly preferred.  Exceptional candidates with other certification, experience or formal training will also be considered.
  • Experience with plastics preferred (materials, extrusion, injection / blow molding, etc.  Other materials and processing technologies will also be considered.
  • Proven experience driving process improvements with quantifiable results.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency.
