Reporting to the Director of operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring the seamless production of high-quality parts while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and organizational goals. You will be responsible for developing efficient production schedules, monitoring productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ultimate objective is to ensure the plant produces top-quality components, delivered on time, and at competitive costs.
• Supervise and mentor a team-Provide guidance in employee performance management, including conducting performance reviews, establishing goals, and facilitating career development plans.• Lead training initiatives for operators and supervisors, including the use of process sheets, and maintain proper documentation of completed training.• Take ownership of product quality, ensuring all parts match the first article and adhere to documented processes. Act decisively if the manufacturing process deviates from these standards• Ensure the facility operates in full compliance with health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for all employees• Deploy strategies to improve productivity, output, and resource utilization across all shifts.
What we are looking for:• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, with a preference for candidates experienced in plastic injection Molding.• Proficiency in health and safety regulations, coupled with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing and productivity improvement strategies.• Demonstrated success in leading and inspiring teams, with exceptional interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts effectively.• Hands-on experience using structured methodologies such as 5 Whys, 8-D, or cause-and-effect analysis to address and resolve operational challenges.
