Position: Area Sales Manager
Company: Our client is a global producer of engineered plastics compounds, with five manufacturing facilities on three continents. Within the US their primary end market is automotive. One of the things that sets them apart from the competition is their extreme focus on sustainability, with around 50% of their products being recycled materials. Founded in 1968, they are relatively new in the US with an aggressive strategy to double sales within 3-5 years. It is like being on the ground floor of a start-up company, only one that is backed by over 55 years of history and a strong balance sheet.

Your unique role with the company:
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining current relationships. You will meet with decision makers at prospective accounts on a regular basis to drive new sales opportunities. You will have a seat at the table in determining the strategic direction for growing revenue, much like a well-funded startup.
