Are you a freight-savvy sales leader looking to make a real impact? A growing logistics firm is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand a high-performing team focused on domestic freight. This is a key leadership role where your strategies, insights, and drive will directly influence growth and success.
Leading a team of 10 active sales reps, with plans to scale to 20+
Developing and executing strategic sales initiatives focused on domestic freight services
Coaching and mentoring sales talent while managing performance and results
Aligning sales efforts with broader company goals through collaboration with senior leadership
Leveraging data and pipeline insights to fine-tune performance and identify new opportunities
Traveling as needed to support team efforts and build relationships across regions
✅ 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in freight/logistics
✅ Strong knowledge of domestic freight and transportation solutions
✅ Proven ability to scale teams and develop high-performance sales environments
✅ Skilled in metrics, performance tracking, and strategy execution
✅ Based in Houston, TX or open to relocation
✅ Willing to travel up to 20%
