Overview

The Building Automation Specialist supports the operation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of building and facility systems. This role focuses on system reliability, issue resolution, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure consistent operation across multiple locations.

This position is well suited for someone who prefers a stable, structured work environment and enjoys working with established processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain building and facility-related systems

  • Update system settings, workflows, alerts, and reports as needed

  • Monitor system performance and investigate operational issues

  • Assist with system updates, integrations, and improvements

  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation and records

  • Collaborate with facilities, technical, and IT teams

  • Support system installations and enhancements

  • Provide general guidance and support to system users

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting building, facilities, or operational systems

  • Experience working with system management or monitoring platforms

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • General technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting systems across multiple locations

  • Familiarity with reporting tools or dashboards

  • Exposure to basic configuration or system setup work
