Summary / Objective
The Systems Manager - Logistics is responsible for managing the onboarding and integration of new clients, operational programs, and system solutions within a logistics or supply chain setting. This role ensures that all customer, operational, and technical requirements are successfully executed through structured project management, cross-functional coordination, and continuous process improvement. Acting as the main liaison between clients and internal teams, the Implementation Manager drives projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization, ensuring a seamless transition into ongoing operations.

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation process, including discovery, planning, testing, and deployment

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and documentation

  • Coordinate efforts across Operations, IT, Warehouse, Transportation, and Customer Support teams

  • Collaborate with technical partners to ensure proper integration of systems and data (e.g., WMS, TMS, EDI, API)

  • Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope

  • Facilitate training and documentation for internal teams and external partners

  • Capture lessons learned and standardize best practices to enhance future project delivery

  • Monitor key performance indicators and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience managing client implementations or operational projects within logistics, supply chain, or related industries

  • Experience with warehouse and transportation management systems (WMS/TMS), data integrations, and project documentation

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, or equivalent)

  • Professional certification such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent preferred
