Summary/Objective
The Maintenance Technician (Electrical Emphasis) is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems to support safe and efficient operations. This position requires solid technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining reliable equipment performance in a dynamic work environment.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, components, and systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using standard testing tools such as multimeters and voltage testers.
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues.
Inspect and test machinery and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Maintain and repair lighting, power circuits, control systems, and related electrical equipment.
Support automated and programmable equipment (if applicable) and assist in process improvement efforts.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, electrical codes, and company standards.
Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately.
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to complete repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, performance, and safety.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment
Working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and general maintenance practices
Familiarity with PLCs or automated equipment a plus
Understanding of applicable safety regulations and electrical standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E)
Proficiency with tools, testing instruments, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities
Availability for overtime, weekend, or on-call work as needed
