We are conducting a search for an experienced Production Manager to join a leading apparel branding and packaging group that partners with top fashion brands and global retailers. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in operations or production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in RFID production, bonding, converting, or related fields is highly desirable.
 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, production planning, procurement, and maintaining quality management systems (QMS). You will have a hands-on approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

 

What You'll Do:

Operational Management & Production Planning

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to meet customer demand and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure equipment and processes operate at maximum efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Lead efforts in capacity planning and resource allocation to support business growth.

Purchasing & Inventory Management

  • Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies to ensure consistent availability while controlling costs.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels, implement stock control systems, and minimize waste.

Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance

  • Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve customer satisfaction.

     Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise and mentor production staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, and customer service) to support business objectives.

      Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and practices.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize operational disruptions.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations or production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in RFID production, bonding, converting, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in production planning, procurement, and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
