Our client is a tier 1 automotive supplier located near Spartanburg, SC looking for a Maintenance Technician.

Their Maintenance team runs on 12-hour shifts on a Panama schedule (2-2-3).

Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards and productivity within the automotive manufacturing environment by adhering to safety protocols and efficiently managing maintenance tasks.

Tasks:

·       Maintain safety and quality standards, follow company policies, and comply with supervisor directives.

·       Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and consistently achieve production goals.

·       Sort scrap materials, maintain a clean and organized work area, and shape decorative elements as required.

·       Perform equipment installation, maintenance, preventative maintenance (PMs), and repairs, including lighting fixtures.

·       Obtain and maintain certifications for forklift operation, working-at-heights for scissor and boom lifts, and fall protection.

·       Ensure environmental compliance concerning waste disposal and spillage.

·       Progress through skill levels from C to B to A with successful assessments.

Requirements:

·       Candidates must have a combination of skills as outlined in the responsibilities section.

·       Successful completion of evaluations will determine pay range/classification with opportunities to retake evaluations every 6 months for pay level advancement.
