Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare organization, is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Manager (340B) to lead and grow their pharmacy operations. Pharmacy Operations & Management:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Manage pharmacy personnel, including staff pharmacists and technicians.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse credentialing standards.
Supervise and implement inventory control, financial profitability, and loss prevention strategies.
Patient Care & Education:
Provide patient education on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper administration.
Support chronic and specialty condition patients with detailed medication counseling.
Ensure patient safety through effective quality assurance measures.
Staff Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the pharmacy team, maximizing strengths and addressing knowledge gaps through ongoing education and training.
Foster a collaborative, patient-focused team culture.
Clinical Collaboration:
Actively engage with clinic providers and clinical staff to enhance patient care and medication management.
Attend clinical meetings to stay informed on patient needs and promote pharmacy services.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:
Ensure compliance with all legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
Monitor adherence to facility policies and maintain operational excellence.
Education & Licenses:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited university.
Active Pharmacist license in Texas.
Experience:
3+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail setting.
Previous management experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.
Knowledge of 340B pharmacy operations is a bonus but not required.
Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
Immunization certification preferred.
Proven ability to plan and implement growth strategies.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Outstanding patient service and relationship-building abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods.
Fine motor skills for keyboard/phone usage.
Proficient in hearing, writing, and speaking effectively.
