Executive Assistant to Principal, Luxury Home Renovation Company, Upper West Side, New York City
Our client, a luxury home renovation design company is looking for a “right hand” Executive Assistant to support one of the main principals as well as be a liaison with the principal and the CEO. The ideal candidate has experience supporting a high-level executive or has experience supporting someone in design, architecture or construction. The ideal candidate must be very detail-oriented and a problem- solver who likes to run projects and handle follow-up with little intervention.
About the Job:
¨ Support the principal as a “right hand”, including managing his calendar and acting as a liaison to the CEO to coordinate meetings they both need to attend
¨ Prioritize emails and craft responses on his behalf, as needed.
¨ Organize and manage travel arrangements with detailed itineraries
¨ Interact with the executive team on behalf of the partner
¨ Prepare principal for internal and client meetings including research and needed collateral materials
¨ Visit on site to construction projects with the principal, and follow-up on outstanding issues
¨ Plan events and dinners
¨ Expense reporting
¨ Ad hoc projects pertaining mostly to renovation projects
¨ Salary plus Discretionary Bonus; Comprehensive Health Benefits
About You:
¨ A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a high- level c-suite executive, preferably in design, architecture or real estate construction
¨ Bachelor’s Degree
¨ Ability to run and follow-up on outstanding renovation projects; experience working with project management software a PLUS
¨ High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information; high emotional and intellectual intelligence
¨ Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
¨ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
¨ A professional demeanor; warm and engaging
