Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Electrician to join a growing manufacturing company in the Lima area. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial environments, demonstrating proficiency in electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and familiarity with various tools and equipment used in electrical work. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and regulations.
• Install and maintain AC and DC industrial electrical equipment and control systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Installing and maintaining facility electrical lighting and power distributions
• Conduct tests using ohmmeters and ammeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Mentor less experienced/knowledgeable co-workers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of voltage systems, power tools, and electrical components.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other trades on-site.
