We are seeking commercial laundry equipment experienced candidates for an Installation Manager role with a growing company that manufacturers, sells, and services industrial laundry equipment for linen service or uniform service plant clients throughout the United States.

Job Summary:
As an Installation Manager with our client, a leading provider of industrial equipment for commercial laundry facilities, you will direct and coordinate activities of Field Service and Machine Technicians to ensure that goals or objectives of installation, service, repair andequipment modifications work are accomplished within prescribed budget, time frame, purchase order and customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, purchase order parameters, procedures for accomplishing work and schedules, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources
- Prepares Installation quotes for sales to include in machine proposals to customer
- Establishes work plan, selects, assigns and schedules Service Technician for each phase of the project, installation, service or repair trip
- Confers with resource staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities
- Ensures staff are properly trained and have the necessary tools to effectively implement the work plan
- Directs, coordinates and monitors activities of field service and machine technician personnel to ensure project installation, service, modifications and repair work progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Reviews status reports prepared by Service personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
- Prepares Service reports for management, client or others
- Directs activities for the timely preparation of customer billing for service trips
- Offers technical solutions to resolve complex system installation requirements and application design issues
- Interfaces with manufacturers to resolve technical issues pertaining to equipment and parts design and installation
- Manages customer support helpline and extended hours support
- Provides technical support during major sales negotiations
- Works with parts and purchasing departments in troubleshooting and resolving problems
- Reviews existing equipment, systems and processes to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs
- Ensures department policies are followed
- Ensures safe working conditions are maintained
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
- Commercial laundry equipment experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience of: 5+ years of related experience and/or training
- Mechanical aptitude with strengths in mechanical and electrical applications, input/output, analog/digital, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, PLCs required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Capable of interpreting complex technical instructions and managing abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to Travel up to 20%
- Clean Driver's License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
