As a Regional Service Engineer with our client, a leading provider of industrial equipment for commercial laundry facilities, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer establishments, providing technical assistance, and supporting other service initiatives.

Installs, configures, starts up and service automated laundry machinery and equipment which may include feeders, ironers, folders, washers, presses, shuttles, conveyors, dryers, garment handling, linen transportation and compound control systems to meet customer's requirements.

Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment following initial installation or repair.

Observes mechanical and electrical devices in operation and listens for unusual sounds or unusual performance from machines or peripheral equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with customer's representative to diagnose problem or implement repairs on machinery and equipment.

Dismantles defective/obsolete component and installs new or repaired component.

Installation, repair and/or replacement of related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, gauges, valves, pressure regulators, inverters, control boards, bearings, cylinders and such related equipment.

Directs Riggers on the placement of machinery according to plant drawings.

Confers with other Regional Service Engineers and customers over the telephone to diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions and provide technical solutions to resolve complex machinery and equipment requirements.

Trains customer's representative(s) on the proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment and prepares related materials on spare parts ordering.

Entry of technical and/or operational issues within case handling system to receive and provide feedback from factory and effect outcome on future product design.

Assists with modifying equipment in the field based on factory drawings, according to customer's specifications; includes but not limited to retrofit of controls, addition of options or working with other factory representatives implementing design changes for improving operation.

Prepares Service Trip Reports utilizing cloud-based software or other reports requested by management.

Requisitions parts, tools and materials as needed through submission of incident cases via dynamics 365.

Maintains clean and organized work area;

Works at different workstations as needs require;
