We are seeking wastewater treatment equipment experienced candidates for a Wastewater Treatment Technical Sales Rep role with a growing company that manufacturers and supplies wastewater treatment technology and equipment to clients in the commercial laundry, linen service and uniform service industry.
Job Summary:
This remote/travel position offers a unique opportunity to drive profit growth and expand market share in the client's Water Treatment program. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, providing technical support to customers, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
Location: Remote, Northeastern USA (PA, NJ, NY, MA preferred)Travel: 40-70%
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate and execute sales plans to close new Water Treatment opportunities and meet profit goals.
Understand customer needs and recommend continuous improvement plans to maintain and grow sales.
Perform system analysis, interpret data, and provide recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations.
Advise Leadership on products and strategies to expand market share.
Provide technical support to existing and potential Water Treatment customers.
Collaborate with staff, oversee administrative activities, and maintain CRM database.
Requirements:
2+ years’ industrial water treatment sales and service experience.
Working knowledge of wastewater treatment systems (for example, ceramic filtration) is required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Chemical Engineering education preferred.
Commercial laundry related experience is a plus
Consultative sales approach with strong account leadership skills.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Willingness to travel overnight 40% to 70%.
